Looking west at 19th Street in Grand Prairie. The is now the center of the five-level Bush Turnpike interchange. At the time of this photo in 2007, frontage roads for SH 161 were under constructio. A pier and abutments are visible for the southbound 161 frontage road just ahead.

Looking west at Great Southwest Parkway. At the time of the photo in 2007, the freeway was still in its original configuration from 1957. In 2015 work began on a four-level interchange just ahead at SH 360, and it was completed in December 2023, including substantial widening of the freeway at this location.

In 2015 work began on the new interchange at SH 360. The project includes rebuilding and widening this section of freeway.

The SH 360 Freeway, named the Angus Wynne Freeway, is just ahead. From the highway opening until 2015, vehicles connecting to SH 360 had to exit to a signalized intersection. In 2015 work began on a new interchange which was completed in December 2023.

The original Ballpark Way the westbound frontage road featured a strange dead-end with a loop turnaround.
