These collector lanes run from around Woodall Rodgers Freeway to the Dallas North Tollway. As of June 2021, the lanes were open to traffic but the collectors were not fully complete. The collectors were officially opened with a ceremonial ribbon cutting on October 18, 2021. My impression (based on a single visit) is that the southbound collector is highly beneficial to the IH-35 main lanes, because the backup to get onto Woodall Rodgers is now on the collector instead of the main lanes, so main lane traffic on IH-35E southbound flows smoothly.
