Reconstruction and expansion of the SH 183 took place from 2015 to 2018. The corridor was entirely rebuilt and substantially widened. Unfortunately, there are still only three regular lanes in each direction, with 2x2 tolled managed lanes in the middle section of the freeway. These views are going westbound from Carl Road to Belt Line.
