After the sign photos, these photos start at the north end at TX 121 near DFW Airport, and proceed south to Mansfield. 2018 status: Many photos have become obsolete due to construction to widen the freeway, including nearly all photos south of I-30. The tollway south of I-20 opened in 2018.
This sign at Division Road shows the freeway name. The palm tree behind the sign is the subject of an interesting side-story on page 454 of the book, "The Heartwarming Story of the Division Street Palm".

The sign and palm tree were removed when the freeway was rebuilt and expanded, from 2009 to 2012. The palm tree was relocated to Carrollton.
The freeway alignment through Arlington was originally Watson School Road. The frontage road is still designated with the original name.
