The $666 million Southern Gateway project, built between 2018 and 2022, modified and expanded the freeway from Interstate 35 to Belt Line Road.

These driving views from I-35E to Belt Line will are retained as a historical archive.

Entering US 67 from I-35E. The first 4.2 miles going southbound, to Camp Wisdom, opened on July 29, 1969. The HOV lane was added March 11, 2002. (Photo date: 12-May-2007)
