The photo archive includes photos which have become obsolete due to construction or other changes. These photos show archive views along SH 114, including Texas Stadium, which was imploded in April 2010. Two managed lanes, one in each direction, were added in 2017 in Irving, making the roadside views on this page obsolete.

View of the original freeway, looking west toward the Loop 12 freeway ahead. At the time of this photo, all connections to Loop 12 were made via frontage roads. In October 2008 a $224 million construction contract was awarded to widen the freeway ahead to Riverside/Rochelle to 8 regular lanes and 4 managed lanes, with two new direct connection ramps to Loop 12. The project was finished in July 2012. The $301 million Irving Interchange project, from 2021 to 2023, included work to transform this section to its final configuration.
